Effects of Jiedu Shugan Huoxue recipe on traditional Chinese medicine syndrome and toxic side effects in patients with primary liver cancer syndrome after microwave ablation

Abstract
Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of Jiedu Shugan Huoxue recipe on the postoperative syndrome of primary hepatic carcinoma(PHC),and its influences on traditional Chinese medicine syndrome and toxic side effects.Methods:A total of 120 patients with PHC who underwent CT-guided percutaneous microwave ablation(MWA)in the hospital from February 2021 to November 2023 was selected and randomly divided into the experimental group(n=60)and the control group(n=60).Patients in the control group received standard Western medical treatment,while those in the experimental group were additionally treated with the Jiedu Shugan Huoxue recipe formula on the basis of conventional therapy.The total effective rate,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,liver function indicators,postoperative syndrome resolution time,and adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the experimental group(85.00%)was obviously higher than that of the reference group(70.00%)(P<0.05).The levels of total bilirubin(TBil),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),and TCM syndrome score of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).And the disappearance time of postoperative syndrome(nausea,vomiting,liver pain,etc.)in the experimental group was obviously shorter than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Also,the incidence of toxic side effects was obviously lower than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination treatment of Jiedu Shugan Huoxue recipe can effectively improve liver function indicators and promote the relief of disease symptoms in patients with the postoperative syndrome of PHC.The effect is ideal and the clinical application value is high.关键词
