摘要
Abstract
In order to reduce the damage of cavitation on the surface of stainless steel, this paper studied the effect of cryogenic treatment process on the cavitation resistance of 440A cast stainless steel. In the experiment, the processed 440A cast stainless steel specimens were placed in a liquid nitrogen cryogenic test chamber for different process steps of cryogenic treatment, and subjected to 1-6 hours of cavitation treatment in an ultrasonic material cavitation testing machine.By comparing different cryogenic processes,it was determined that process 3,which includes pretreatment, annealing, quenching, and cryogenic treatment,is the best. The cavitation loss under 6 hours of air erosion duration is 5 mg,and the average cavitation rate is 1.2 mg/h.Further testing showed that under process 3 conditions, the cavitation loss during 30 minutes of deep cooling was 4.5 mg,and the average cavitation rate is 1.3 mg/h;The cavitation loss at a cryogenic temperature of-50 ℃ is 3.4 mg,and the average cavitation rate is also 1.3 mg/h.The results indicate that both a 30 minute deep cooling duration and a-150 ℃ deep cooling temperature can effectively reduce cavitation losses and improve the cavitation resistance of stainless steel.关键词
