向氏"四步整脊法"联合针刺治疗颈源性头痛医案举隅
Case Report on Xiang's"Four-Step Chiropractic Manipulation"Combined with Acupuncture in Treating Cervicogenic Headache
摘要
Abstract
Cervicogenic headache,caused by cervical structural abnormalities and soft tissue lesions,falls under the categories of"Bi syndrome"and"headache"in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Based on over 40 years of clinical experience,professor Xiang Kaiwei discovered that chronic strain of neck muscles leads to spasms,obstructing qi and blood circulation,thereby forming a patho-logical state of"bone malalignment and sinew derangement".The core pathogenesis lies in"imbalance of sinew channels,stagnation of meridians,and pain due to obstruction".Treatment should address both"bone setting"and"sinew regulation"to restore the bal-ance of"proper bone alignment and supple sinews".Accordingly,professor Xiang proposed the combination of"four-step chiroprac-tic manipulation"and acupuncture.The four-step chiropractic manipulation(muscle relaxation,acupoint pressure,traction-bone set-ting,and gentle massage)improves local structural alignment,while acupuncture(at Fengchi(GB20),Tianzhu(BL10),cervical Jiaji(EX-B2),etc.,using even reinforcing-reducing method)regulates qi and blood.Their synergy achieves a curative effect of"unblock-ing to relieve pain".A representative case is presented to provide new insights into the clinical management of cervicogenic head-ache.关键词
