Medication rule of Yin-fire elimination prescriptions formulated by Li Dongyuan:A study based on data mining

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the medication rule of Yin-fire elimination prescriptions formulated by Li Dongyuan,to summarize the typing of Yin-fire syndrome,and to provide a theoretical basis for the treatment of diseases associated with internal injury of the spleen and stomach.Methods:Yin-fire elimination prescriptions were collected from Treatise on the Spleen and Stomach,Secret Book of Orchid Chamber,Medical Inventions,Treatise on the Differentiation of Internal and External Injuries,Essentials of Revival Methods,and Tested Prescriptions by Mas-ter Dongyuan.SPSS Statistics 27.0 was used to perform the descriptive statistical analysis of drugs in prescriptions and the cluster analysis of high-frequency drugs,and SPSS Modeler 18.0 was used to perform the association rule analysis of high-frequency drugs.Results:A total of 90 Yin-fire elimination prescriptions were obtained,involving 111 traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)drugs,with a frequency of use of 1 058 times,and the core drugs were An-gelica sinensis,Rhizoma Cimicifugae,Bupleurum chinense,Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata,Panax ginseng,Astragalus membranaceus,and tangerine peel.The TCM drugs were classified into 39 types,and most drugs had a warm,cold or neutral nature and a pungent,bitter or sweet taste,mainly entering the spleen,stomach,and lung meridians.The main types of drugs were Qi-moving drugs,pungent and warm-natured dispersing drugs,Qi-tonifying drugs,and in-terior-warming drugs.The association rule analysis of high-frequency drugs obtained 5 commonly used drug pairs and 12 commonly used drug combinations.The cluster analysis of high-frequency drugs obtained 6 commonly used core prescriptions.The core syndrome types of Yin-fire syndrome included dampness stagnation Yin-fire syndrome,Qi depression Yin-fire syndrome,and Yin deficiency Yin-fire syndrome.Conclusion:Deficiency of spleen Qi and stomach Qi is the primary pathogenesis of Yin-fire,and Li Dongyuan applies sweet and warm-natured spleen-toni-fying drugs as the most important method in the treatment of Yin-fire.Core prescriptions include Shengyang decoc-tion,Buzhong Yiqi decoction,Yiwei decoction,and Shengyang Chushi decoction,and these prescriptions can be used to tonify the spleen and the stomach and purge Yin-fire.关键词
