摘要

Abstract

It is a must for the seamless steel tube for hi-pressure hydrogen vessel service to be satisfactory to all the properties as required for the vessel,including the hardenability,the hydrogen brittleness resistance and the so called post-leakage burst fracture toughness.The key factors as affecting the performances of the steel tube are analyzed.Accord-ingly relevant suggestions are proposed,for the purpose of improving the above mentioned properties of the steel tube,involving such aspects as optimizing the chemical composition by means of properly increasing the contents of Cr and Mo,and properly adding Ni,V Nb and Ti;improving the steel-making process,or employing the electroslag remelting process to increase the steel cleanness,and mean while to control the contents of both harmful impurity elements and the non-metallic inclusions;conducting homogenization treatment and upset drawing of the CC billet or using the radial forg-ing pipe-making process instead of the conventional hot-rolling process in a bid to reduce inner surface roughness and surface defects of the steel pipe,and to improve the pipe's hardenability,hydrogen brittleness resistance and fracture toughness.The research result provides certain references for further development of the seamless steel tube for hi-pressure hydrogen vessel service.
