High-Quality Development as the Path to Building,Revitalizing,and Strengthening Local Agricultural Universities
摘要
Abstract
High-quality development is the mainstream direction for the nation's future economic and social progress,and it is also the primary pathway for ensuring the steady,healthy,and rapid growth of local agricultural universities.The Rural Revitalization Strategy and the Poverty Alleviation Campaign call for high-quality agricultural higher education and highly skilled agricultural professionals;advancing Guangdong's vision of"four leading positions nationwide"and"taking the lead in achieving province-wide agricultural modernization"necessitates high-level agricultural scientific research and advanced agricultural engineering technologies.As a local agriculture-related university,it should capitalize on the strengths of"agriculture"and highlight the advantages of"engineering,"uphold the educational phi-losophy of"supporting agriculture and industry,with an emphasis on practice,"develop a research team and service brand that"understands and loves agriculture,promotes and strengthens agriculture,"explore a new path of"one understanding,two loves,and three competencies"in all-round education,advance reform and foster continuous innovation in educational concepts,systems,and methods,and strive to build a high-level applied agricultural university that earns the trust of the Party and meets the expectations of the people.关键词
