Abstract
Soil Science is a core foundational discipline for Agriculture-and Forestry-related majors in higher education institutions.It aims to cultivate high quality talents who meet the needs of modern agri-culture and forestry development and serve the Rural Revitalization Strategy through systematic theoreti-cal learning and practical skills training.In the context of the New Agricultural Sciences initiative,this reform addresses the pain points of the"six heavy and six light"issues in traditional Soil Science teach-ing,strengthens the integration and guiding role of ideological and political education,and promotes the integration of scientific research findings into teaching.It further explores the innovative"six uses"teaching mode—"teaching with love,guiding with empathy,exemplifying with dedication,leading through action,cultivating with wisdom,and committing with responsibility"—and establishes a talent cultivation pathway that progresses from"caring for and learning agriculture"to"understanding and loving agriculture,"and ultimately to"strengthening and revitalizing agriculture."This approach reali-zes the goal of"everything grows in the soil,talents are cultivated in the soil"within the framework of educational and teaching reform for agricultural and forestry disciplines in the new era.关键词
