Abstract
In order to optimize the continuous rolling process for the Ti90 titanium alloy pipe,based on the PQF pipe-rolling mill,a finite element model is established with which the simulation of the migration of the rolling data of the TC4 pipe to the Ti90 pipe is conducted,and so is relevant verification via production.As a result it is demonstrated that the metal at the bottom of the roll mainly undergoes radial compressive deformation,and then flows towards the roll gap and in the axial direction.And meanwhile the equivalent stress and the equivalent plastic strain are getting gradually increased,and the stress state of the as-rolled pipe is relatively stable.The errors of the length and temperature of the rolled-pipe as obtained via the simulation as compared with the actual production data are just only 1.2%and 0.4%respectively,which means the reliability of the said model.The said model is worthy using to guide the optimization of the process parameters for rolling pipes with different materials so as to enhance the productivity and the product quality.关键词
