Abstract
curriculum on ideological and political education is an important approach to the fundamental task of fostering character and moral integrity in higher education.As traditional Chinese medical therapies such as acupuncture-moxibustion and tuina gain increasing international influence,English for acupuncture-moxibustion and tuina has become a bridge course for spreading traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)culture to the world.Integrating ideological and political elements into the English for acupuncture-moxibustion and tuina major benefits cultivate students'correct outlook on life,values,and morality,enabling them to grow into talented TCM professionals with both moral integrity and expertise.Taking the undergraduate students with visual impairments majoring in acupuncture-moxibustion and tuina at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine as an example,this paper discussed the current situation in terms of basic learning conditions,teaching materials,teaching methods,and teacher training.It aims to provide a reliable reference for constructing a teaching strategy that combines professional English knowledge points with ideological and political education in the English for acupuncture-moxibustion and tuina major.关键词
