Abstract

The current water-using units of Ru'nan Senior High School in Henan include teaching buildings,dormitory buildings,office buildings,student dining halls,public toilets,campus greening,etc.The water supply network in campus currently only has traditional water meters installed at the water intake well and water pipes for the cafeteria,and these meters do not have data transmission capabilities.This water-saving demonstration project mainly involves replacing some of the water-using appliances at the school,establishing a smart water management platform,and constructing rainwater collection tanks so as to enhance the utilization of unconventional water sources,and achieve the goal of water conservation.This paper mainly discusses upgrading water-saving appliances,establishing a big data remote monitoring and management platform for the water usage system,building a rainwater collection and utilization system,and installing remote water meters in each major water-using unit of the campus.
