摘要

Abstract

[Objective]With the increasing shortage of global water resources,saving water and improving water use efficiency have become a key component of national sustainable development strategies.Relevant departments in China have set a goal to limit the leakage rate of water supply pipeline networks within 9%by 2025 to cope with water shortage.This paper aims to comprehensively review and analyze the leakage control technologies and management models currently employed in the water supply industry.By comparing the characteristics and applicable conditions of different methods,this paper provides a scientific basis for water supply enterprises to choose suitable and efficient leakage control methods.[Methods]This paper summarized the traditional leakage control methods,including renovation of old pipelines,water supply pressure regulation,manual leakage detection and performance management,as well as emerging technologies such as satellite leakage detection,real-time noise monitoring,intelligent water meter background monitoring,hydraulic model and intelligent algorithm.Through the comparative analysis of these technologies and methods,the effectiveness and applicability of various leakage control measures were discussed.[Results]Using examples of water supply leakage control,the classification,statistics and proportion of physical leakage were analyzed,and the role of leakage management was also considered,and the strategies for controlling water supply leakage were clarified to achieve control of water supply system losses.[Conclusion]With the development of science and technology,the application of new technology plays an increasingly important role in leakage control.Water supply enterprises should combine their own economic strength and actual leakage situation,and comprehensively use a variety of leakage control technologies and management models to achieve the best leakage control effect and realize the cost reduction,efficiency improvement and healthy development of water supply enterprises.
