Abstract
As the core foundation of the digital economy,the scale and computing power demand of data centers have surged,resulting in increasingly acute contradictions between highly reliable power supply and energy consumption and space efficiency.Although the current mainstream traditional power supply architecture(power frequency transformer UPS/HVDC)can meet the high reliability requirements of millisecond-level switching of IT equipment,it has significant limitations:multi-stage power conversion(AC-DC-AC/DC)usually results in a comprehensive system efficiency of less than 92%;the large size of power frequency transformers and the lengthy distribution links make it difficult to adapt to high-density computing power scenarios with a single cabinet power of more than 50 kW,which seriously restricts the green and low-carbon transformation.In response to this contradiction,solid-state transformer(SST)technology is used to optimize and transform it.Based on the high-frequency conversion characteristics of SiC/GaN wide bandgap devices(operating frequency>20 kHz),SST can replace the traditional"power frequency transformer low-voltage conversion module"combination,shortening the power supply link from 10 kV medium voltage AC to the load side(such as 48 V/240 V DC)from 5~6 to 2~3,significantly reducing losses.At the same time,its modular design reduces the volume of power frequency transformers by more than 60%,saving 40%~50%of the power distribution area and improving the deployment efficiency of IT cabinets.SST also integrates harmonic suppression,reactive power compensation and multi-energy interface functions,and is seamlessly compatible with photovoltaic and energy storage access,helping to build an integrated power supply system of"source,grid,load and storage".This solution can improve the comprehensive energy efficiency of the system to more than 96%while ensuring power supply continuity,providing an innovative power supply path for high-density and low-PUE data centers.关键词
