Abstract

The form of fastener bolts used in aerospace products has widespread application in spacecraft.Threaded connections have the advantages of simple and reliable structure,convenient assembly,and high reliability.However,when the threaded connection structure is subjected to impact,vibration,thermal stress cycles,etc.in complex working conditions,the preload of the bolts will gradually decrease,i.e.,the bolts will loosen,which will seriously affect the reliability of aerospace products.Researching the failure mechanism of the threaded connection loosening has important scientific significance.Based on the theoretical mathematical model,SolidWorks and Hypermesh software are used in this experiment to establish a fine-grained finite element model,and Abaqus software is used to simulate the threaded connection loosening mechanism.The change of the preload of the bolts under different vibration loading directions are studied.The calculation shows that when subjected to a single direction vibration load,lateral vibration is the main factor causing the reduction of the preload,lateral vibration leads to serious loosening of the threaded connection,and the influence of other directions of vibration on the reduction of the preload is not obvious;when lateral vibration is coupled with a vibration load in another direction,the reduction of the preload is obvious,the reduction of the preload is approximately equal to the sum of the reduction of the preload in the two individual directional loads.During the service period of aerospace products,as much attention as possible should be paid to the bolt state under a lateral vibration environment,and necessary anti-loosening measures should be taken to avoid problems.
