Development lineage and realization path of whole-process people's democracy of CPC
摘要
Abstract
Over the past 100 years of struggle,under the guidance of Marxist theory and in the light of China's real-ities,the Communist Party of China(CPC)has constructed the broadest and truest form of people's democracy in the process of human endeavour to date.The whole-process people's democracy has gone through four stages,name-ly,the period of early conceptualization,the period of partial governing practice,the period of tortuous exploration and development,and the period of enrichment and perfection.The historical logic of the whole-process people's democracy shows that socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics in the new era must be a democracy that runs through the whole process of democratic election,democratic consultation,democratic decision-making,democratic management,and democratic supervision under the guidance of adherence to the organic unity of the Party's leader-ship,the people's sovereignty,and the rule of the country in accordance with the law.Compared with Western-style democracy,which emphasizes procedures over substance,China's whole-process people's democracy,with its dis-tinctive characteristics of being the broadest,truest and most effective,has demonstrated its remarkable superiority,and has provided the vast number of developing countries with a practical program for Chinese democracy that can be drawn upon and learned from.关键词
