摘要

Abstract

[Objectives]Broflanilide is a novel meta-diamides insecticide.To provide a scientific basis for the use of this insecticide,the resistance risk of Helicoverpa armigera to broflanilide was evaluated combining its resistance development in the laboratory and initial frequency of resistance alleles in the field.[Methods]The susceptible SCD strain of H.armigera was selected with broflanilide over successive generations,and the realized heritability of resistance(h2)was calculated using the threshold trait analysis.The frequency of resistance alleles to broflanilide in field populations was determined using F2 screen method.[Results]Under the selection pressure about 70%mortality in each generation,h2 to broflanilide was 0.126 8 or 0.059 2 after 10 or 20 generations of selection.During resistance selection over 20 generations,the resistance ratio of H.armigera to broflanilide ranged from 1.9 to 4.5,and the resistance ratio was 2.8 at the 20th generation.A total of 31 200 larvae in F2 generation of 325 field isofemale lines from 2022 North China died under the diagnostic concentration of broflanilide using diet overlay bioassay,indicating that there was no resistance allele in these isofemale lines.The frequency of resistance allele to broflanilide in field populations from North China was therefore estimated as 0.000 8(95%CI:0.000 0-0.005 0).[Conclusions]The resistance development of H.armigera to broflanilide in the laboratory was slow and the initial frequency of resistance alleles in field populations was low.Therefore,H.armigera had a low risk to develop resistance to broflanilide,sugguesting the insecticide can be effectively used in the control of H.armigera.
