Abstract
Tribological properties of polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)composites filled with polyimide(PI)with different mass fractions and carbon nanotubes(CNTs)with a mass fraction of 5%were studied by molecular dynamics(MD)simulation.Firstly,amorphous models of PTFE,5%CNTs/PTFE and 5%CNTs/PI with different mass fractions/PTFE composites(PI mass fractions were 5%,10%,15%,20%and 25%),and the friction pair model of composites and iron was constructed,and the tribological properties of the composites were calculated by restriction shear.The simulation results showed that when the CNTs with a mass fraction of 5%were filled,the friction coefficient and wear rate of the composites decreased compared with PTFE,and on this basis,when the PI was filled with a 10%mass fraction,the friction coefficient of the composites decreased by 6.7%and the wear rate decreased by 11.6%.By analyzing the friction interface temperature,the relative concentration of atoms along the thickness direction,and the radial distribution function at the interface,the influence mechanism of PI and CNTs on PTFE materials was revealed from the atomic perspective.关键词
