Modernization of Agricultural Science and Technology:Generative Logic,Connotative Characteristics,and Practical Pathway

Abstract
With the continuous advancement of science and technology,the agricultural sector has undergone the transformation from traditional to modern practices,making agricultural modernization of science and technology be an inevitable trend in agricultural development.In recent years,explorations and practices related to the modernization of agricultural science and technology have made lots of efforts,including policy formulation and concrete implementation,from the national level to county level.Through analyzing the underlying logic of the modernization of agricultural science and technology,from both historical and contemporary perspectives,this paper deems that agricultural science and technology modernization is an inevitable trend of the times,and aligns with the needs of social progress.It is proposed that agricultural science and technology modernization is a multi-dimensional,cross-disciplinary composite concept characterized by productivity enhancement,precision,ecological sustainability,synergy,and extensibility.Furthermore,based on the practical experience from pilot counties in agricultural science and technology modernization,five development models driven by the talent,digitization,strategy,industry,and market are summarized in this paper.Five practice pathways are then outlined,to better address the issue on agricultural science and technology modernization,thus providing actionable recommendations and references for future efforts on agricultural science and technology modernization.关键词
