Quality Evaluation Indicators and Methods for Technical Stations Serving Intermediate Stations

Abstract
In recent years,China State Railway Group has vigorously promoted the initiative of technical stations serving intermediate stations,effectively reducing shunting risks at intermediate stations and enhancing the efficiency of traffic organization within railway hubs.Given the significant variations in yard layout,facility configuration,and traffic flow patterns among different technical stations,the quality of their service to intermediate stations is influenced by numerous factors.Therefore,it is particularly important to establish a scientific and reasonable evaluation system.Guided by the objectives of ensuring shunting safety at intermediate stations,improving shunting efficiency at intermediate stations,reducing the cost of hub shunting operations,and assisting intermediate stations in expanding their service scope,this paper constructed a quality evaluation index system based on three key elements:scale,efficiency,and economy.Based on the characteristics of indicators,appropriate analytical methods were selected.Due to the multi-input and multi-output system characteristics of scale evaluation,data envelopment analysis was used for evaluation.As there is a significant correlation between efficiency and economic evaluation indicators internally,principal component analysis was used for evaluation.On this basis,the analytic hierarchy process was used to comprehensively evaluate the quality of the service provided by technical stations to intermediate stations.关键词
