Abstract
To thoroughly implement the national Technical Guidance on Loss Reduction in Raw Grain Transportation,strengthen the management of grain transportation processes,improve grain transportation efficiency,and effectively reduce grain losses and wastage during transportation,this paper started with an analysis of the current situation of corn transportation by railways in China.Focusing on issues such as corn mildew-induced cargo damage occurring in railway transportation,this paper identified the main causes of such problems,including insufficient railway transportation equipment and facilities for corn,unprofessional quality inspection of corn before loading,poor adherence to freight vehicle delivery time limits,and unclear laws and regulations on liability determination for cargo damage.Correspondingly,it proposed prevention and control strategies for cargo damage in corn transportation by railways,such as optimizing transportation methods,strengthening monitoring and management during corn transportation,improving coordination among various departments,and refining the liability determination clauses in the Railway Cargo Damage Handling Rules.These suggestions aim to provide references for ensuring the safety of railway grain transportation.关键词
