Transportation Organization Scheme and Operation Benefit Evaluation of 30 000-ton Heavy-Haul Trains

Abstract
To explore effective approaches for improving the transport capacity of heavy-haul railway and enhance the overall efficiency of coal transportation corridors,this study established a feasibility scheme and a benefit evaluation system for the operation of 30 000-ton heavy-haul trains based on existing equipment foundations.Based on the existing equipment conditions of heavy-haul railways,this paper specifically investigated the adaptability of traction modes and the matching degree of section capacity for 30 000-ton trains by building a train marshalling optimization model,simulating transportation organization processes,and developing a multi-dimensional benefit measurement framework.Furthermore,it conducted quantitative analyses from aspects such as the extent of transport capacity improvement,the reduction in unit transportation costs,the amount of carbon emission reductions,and the improvement of corridor transportation efficiency.Using the"case deduction"method,under the background of the Shuohuang Railway,it carried out the design of feasible schemes,such as the actual 30 000-ton heavy-haul train marshalling plan and station operation methods.The results show that 30 000-ton heavy-haul trains can significantly improve the corridor's transport capacity and further reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions per unit of transport volume.This scheme can provide direct technical support and decision-making references for the capacity expansion and upgrading,optimal allocation of transportation resources,and high-quality development of heavy-haul railway in the West-to-East Coal Transportation Corridors.关键词
