"Digital Immortality":Ethical Risks and Regulatory Approaches in Interactions between the Living and Digital Representations of the Deceased
摘要
Abstract
In the era of AI-generated content, interactions between the living and digital representations of the deceased(such as those created by ChatGPT)constitute a novel form of interpersonal communication. The ethical compliance of such exchanges impacts not only the interactions themselves but also the preservation of social morality and the maintenance of societal order. The paper examines the ethical risks and regulatory pathways of such interactions, identifying core issues including:philosophical disputes over the nature of the digital deceased's existence, ethical cognitive biases among the living towards digital personas, ambiguous boundaries in communication standards, and dissemination risks arising from commercial exploitation. To address these challenges,a multi-dimensional regulatory framework is required:at the national level, existing legal frameworks should be refined to clarify liability for infringement;society must establish appropriate ethical norms;technology platforms should prevent addiction to"communication silos";and individuals must enhance media literacy for rational engagement. This systematic regulatory approach aims to balance technological innovation with ethical boundaries, safeguarding the healthy development of interpersonal interactions in the digital age.关键词
