不同泥沙比底质对泥螺(Bullacta exarata)潜沙行为影响的研究
Study on the impact of substrate with different sediment-to-sand ratios of on the submersion behavior of Bullacta exarata

Abstract
In order to explore the effects of different substrates on the sediment submersion behavior of mud snails(Bullacta exarata),this study investigates the submersion behavior of B.exarata in substrates with different sediment-to-sand ratios,to assess their substrate preference.The study also analyzed the physicochemical properties of natural tidal flat sediments and substrates with various sediment-to-sand ratios to explore their impact on the burrowing behavior of mud snails and to identify the underlying reasons.The results indicated that:1)The submersion behavior of mud snails could be divided into preparation,burrowing,and termination phases,with the burrowing phase being the primary stage;2)Among the five experimental substrates,the highest distribution rate of mud snails was observed in the group with the sediment-to-sand ratio of 3∶7,followed by 1∶1 ratio.There was no significant difference in the 24-hour burrowing rate among different substrates.In pure sand,and substrates with sediment-to-sand ratios of 3∶7 and 1∶1,the burrowing depth of mud snails showed no significant difference and was significantly greater than that in substrates with ratio of 7∶3 and pure mud;3)The distribution rate of mud snails in five substrates was negatively correlated with the water-soluble Ca2+and Mg2+contents in the substrate.Burrowing depth was negatively correlated with organic carbon and organic matter content and positively correlated with the average particle size.The 24-hour burrowing rate was negatively correlated with the content of organic carbon and organic matter.The comprehensive analysis showed that the 3∶7 substrate sediment was more suitable for mud snails.These findings provide a theoretical basis for identifying the optimal substrate composition that promoted the most active burrowing behavior in mud snails and for optimizing their farming environment.关键词
