红景天益气汤对气虚体质慢性疲劳综合征患者的临床疗效观察
Clinical Efficacy Observation of Hongjingtian Yiqi Decoction on Patients with Qi-Deficiency Constitution Complicated by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Hongjingtian Yiqi Decoction in treating patients with Qi-deficiency constitution complicated by chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS).Methods:A total of 60 patients diagnosed with Qi-deficiency chronic fatigue syndrome at the Subhealth Clinic of Dongfang Hospital,Beijing University of Chinese Medicine,between January 2022 and January 2023,were enrolled.Patients were randomly divided into a treatment group(n=30)and a control group(n=30)using a random number table method.The treatment group received the self-formulated Hongjingtian Yiqi Decoction,while the control group was administered oral VitBco(0.2 g),VitC(0.1 g),and VitE(0.1 g).Both groups received conventional Qi-tonifying regimens.The treatment duration was 12 weeks.Efficacy was evaluated using serum free radical indices(including catalase(CAT),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),superoxide dismutase(SOD),lipid peroxides(LPO),malondialdehyde[MDA]),Qi-Deficiency Constitution Scale scores,and the Somatic and Psychological Health Report(SPHERE)scale.Results:After treatment,the clinical effective rate was 89.66%(26/29)in the treatment group versus 79.31%(23/29)in the control group(P<0.01).Post-treatment serum levels of SOD,GSH-Px,and CAT were significantly higher(P<0.05 or P<0.01),while MDA and LPO levels were lower(P<0.05 or P<0.01)in the treatment group compared to the control group.Improvements in Qi-Deficiency Constitution Scale and SPHERE scale scores were more pronounced in the treatment group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion:Hongjingtian Yiqi Decoction demonstrates superior clinical efficacy to oral vitamin in treating Qi-deficiency CFS.It significantly improves Qi-deficiency constitution,enhances antioxidant capacity,corrects free radical metabolic disorders,and reduces SPHERE scale scores,thereby alleviating physical and psychological fatigue symptoms.关键词
