Abstract

Professional accreditation in higher vocational education is a crucial approach to ensuring the steady development of the quality of specialty construction in higher vocational colleges.The implementation of professional accreditation in higher vocational education responds to the practical needs of various stakeholders,serves as a key mechanism for effectively aligning specialty construction standards with social demands,and constitutes an important path for constructing a quality assurance system in higher vocational education.As a third-party evaluation and accreditation activity,it currently faces numerous challenges in serving the construction of the"double-high plan",such as focusing on the concept of"prioritizing optimization"and"upholding bottom lines",the evaluation index system is mismatched,and the endogenous driving force of higher vocational professional accreditation is insufficient.To provide high-quality,high-level,and premium services for the construction of the"double-high plan",professional accreditation in higher vocational education needs to strengthen institutional provisions and implement the separation of"regulation,operation and evaluation";improve laws and regulations and enhance legal supervision;and strengthen team building to elevate professional standards.
