Abstract
In this study,microfibrillated cellulose(MFC)from Broussonetia Papyrifera bark was prepared by homogenization technology.The effects of different sizes of MFC and their addition amounts on the properties of cotton pulp paper were investigated to reflect the precise regulation of fine fibers on paper properties.The results showed that continuous high-pressure homogenization treatment could promote the dissociation and microfibrillation of plant fibers.After 20 times of high-pressure homogenization treatment,MFC with a diameter of about(84±16)nm could be obtained.MFC-20 had a larger specific surface area,which made the paper structure denser,resulting in an increase in the drainage time of the pulp(28.5 s)and a significant decrease in the air permeability of the paper.However,only 1%addition of MFC-10 could rapidly increase the folding endurance of the paper to 2 089 times.关键词
