Abstract
Diabetic wounds suffer from delayed healing due to excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)ac-cumulation and susceptibility to bacterial infection.Thus,there is an urgent need to develop multifunctional wound dressings with surface microenvironment-response and regulation abilities.In this study,zeolitic imidazo-late framework-8(ZIF-8)nanoparticles loaded with epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)was incorporated into electrospun nanofibers,followed by aminolysis modification to improve the hydrophilicity of poly(lactic-co-gly-colic acid)(PLGA)composite fibrous membranes,the nanofibrous dressings with pH-responsive drug release,ROS scavenging and antibacterial properties were prepared.The results showed that after aminolysis modification,the contact angle of the composite fibrous membrane decreased to 60.5°,suggesting improved hydrophilicity.The cumulative EGCG release reached 68.6%after 96 h in weakly acidic condition(pH 5.0),which was significant-ly higher than that in neutral environments(pH 7.4,39.0%).The composite dressing demonstrated 76.8%scavenging efficiency against 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radicals within 5 h,and inhibition rate against escherichia coli reached 96.7%.The developed pH-responsive multifunctional wound dressings showed great po-tential in intelligent treatment of infected diabetic wounds.关键词
