关于科学教育专业授予学位的思考
Reflections on the Degree Conferral for the Science Education Major
摘要
Abstract
The undergraduate program in science education bears the important responsibility of providing professionally qualified teachers for science courses in basic education.It is of great significance for supporting the reform of basic education in China,enhancing the public's scientific literacy,and meeting the strategic needs of building a nation strong in science and technology.Currently,the program confers a Bachelor degree of Education.However,the distinctive feature of this major lies in its requirement for a solid foundation in the natural sciences,with an emphasis on cultivating comprehensive abilities in scientific experimentation and practice,as well as a sense of scientific inquiry.This does not align with the type of degree awarded.It is recommended that a Bachelor of Science degree be conferred instead,in the hope that the degree awarded will better match the core competency requirements of the major and accurately reflect the distinctive characteristics of the science education program.关键词
