Abstract
This study investigates the extreme rainstorm and flood event triggered by Typhoon Saola(No.9)in the Luoding River Basin during September 2023("2023.09").By integrating meteorological conditions and hydrological characteristics,the analysis focuses on the unprecedented,once-in-a-century flood features observed in the basin.Comparative assessments with historical flood events are conducted to elucidate the uniqueness of this disaster.The findings provide critical references for flood disaster management in the Luoding River Basin and offer insights into flood prevention strategies for similar river systems.关键词
