Vibration Response and Failure Mechanism of Circlip Riser in the Splash Zone
摘要
Abstract
To address the damage caused by long-term wave erosion to risers in the splash zone of offshore platforms and ensure the safe operation of oil and gas wells,the vibration response characteristics and failure mechanisms of risers were investigated.A finite element model for vibration analysis of risers in the splash zone was constructed based on actual operating conditions,quantifying boundary conditions such as marine environmental loads,platform displacement,and stabilizer support reaction forces.The vibration characteristics of the circlip riser joint were analyzed through numerical simulation.The displacement amplitude of the circlip riser(peaking at 11.6 mm),the average stress of the male joint groove(up to 166 MPa),and the response patterns of joint failure were studied.Analysis of casing riser joints after wear of 1 mm,2 mm,3 mm,and 4 mm revealed the effects of corrosion thinning on stress.The stress patterns of key components during riser vibration,can provide a theoretical basis for health monitoring and preventive maintenance of riser in the splash zones.关键词
