Abstract
The efficient performance of counter-rotating propellers is often constrained by noise issues,and studying their noise characteristics during operation is of great significance for propeller design and environmental compliance.This paper conducted aerodynamic noise testing on a four blade counter-rotating propeller with a diameter of 1 m,and analyzed the influence of operating parameters such as advance ratio and blade angle on its aerodynamic noise characteristics.The experimental results show that the noise spectrum characteristics of the counter-rotating propeller in different directions are basically consistent.The total sound pressure level,1st and 3rd order blade passing frequency noise generally show an increasing and then decreasing trend from the front to the back of the propeller disc,while the 2nd order blade passing frequency noise fluctuates violently with the change of azimuth angle and has complex directionality;When other parameters such as rotational speed remain constant,as the advance ratio increases,the wideband noise of the counter-rotating propeller significantly decreases,and the total sound pressure level and 2nd and 3rd order blade passing frequency noise show a decreasing trend;As the front blade angle increases,the broadband noise,first order blade passing frequency noise,and total sound pressure level of the counter rotating propeller all increase significantly;As the rear blade angle increases,there is no obvious pattern in the variation of the first three blade passing frequency noise of the counter-rotating propeller,and the total sound pressure level in the local direction shows an increasing trend.The monotonic effects of advance ratio and front blade angle on the noise in various directions during the test,as well as the sensitivity of local directional noise in front of the propeller disc to the rear blade angle,can provide reference for the aerodynamic and acoustic design of counter-rotating propellers.关键词
