摘要

Abstract

To investigate the composition of microbial communities in the intertidal sediments of the Yellow River Estuary during summer and autumn,96 sediment samples were collected from 8 sampling sites.High-throughput sequencing technology was used to analyze microbial community composition from summer to autumn and to ex-plore the influence of various environmental factors on the microbial community structure.Proteobacteria was the most dominant sediment bacterial phylum,followed by Bacteroidetes and Desulfobacterota.Significant differences in α-diversity were observed between autumn and summer,with both species richness and evenness being higher in autumn than in summer.Principal component analysis,combined with permutational multivariate analysis of vari-ance,was used to assess β-diversity,and it revealed a significant separation in microbial community structures be-tween summer and autumn samples.Using linear discriminant analysis effect size,37 significantly different bacte-rial taxa at the genus level were identified between the summer and autumn groups,with 9 taxa enriched in summer and 28 in autumn.Microbial abundances in both summer and autumn were strongly correlated with environmental factors.Moreover,microbial communities in different seasons are influenced by different environmental factors and exhibit varying abundance changes.FAPROTAX functional annotation indicated that the higher abundance in summer and autumn was related to nitrogen and sulfur metabolism.genes related to nitrogen and sulfur metabolism were abundant in both summer and autumn.In addition,metabolic differences analysis showed that the significantly upregulated functions in autumn samples were mainly autotrophic metabolic functions,while the significantly up-regulated functions in summer samples were related to catabolic metabolism.
