Professor Ouyang Xiaoyong Applies the Toxin-Eliminating Method in Treating Pemphigus
摘要
Abstract
Pemphigus is a group of autoimmune chronic bullous skin disorders caused by acantholysis.Professor Ouyang Xiaoyong,a renowned traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)physician in Yunnan Province,holds unique insights into the treatment of pemphigus.He proposes that the treatment should focus on the core pathogenesis of wind toxin,heat toxin,and dampness toxin,following the therapeutic principles of diffusing the upper,regulating the middle,and percolating the lower.For pathogens in the qi phase,the method involves gently diffusing dampness and heat;for toxins accumulating in the middle energizer,the focus is on regulating the middle energizer and eliminating toxins to restore qi movement;for pathogens lingering in the lower energizer,the emphasis is on promoting urination to eliminate dampness and toxins.Throughout the toxin-eliminating process,great importance is attached to protecting the spleen and stomach in the middle energizer,as skin lesions rely heavily on the spleen-earth,and their regulation must be carefully detailed.By tailoring treatments to individual constitution,seasonal changes,and local conditions,satisfactory clinical efficacy has been achieved.关键词
