Study on the effect of multidimensional management supported by cloud follow-up on postoperative recovery of patients undergoing robot-assisted radical resection of rectal cancer

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the rehabilitation effect of multidimensional management supported by cloud follow-up for patients after robot-assisted radical resection of rectal cancer.Methods:126 rectal cancer patients treated at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from May 2020 to May 2024 were selected.They were divided into the control group(n=63,receiving routine intervention)and the observation group(n=63,receiving multidimensional management supported by cloud follow-up)using the random number table method.Self-care ability,anal function,quality of life,and complication rates were compared between the two groups.Results:Before intervention,there were no statistically significant differences in self-care ability,anal function,or quality of life between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,scores across all dimensions of self-care ability significantly increased in the two groups,with the observation group scoring higher than the control group(P<0.05).The observation group also had better anal function than the control group(P<0.05).Both groups showed improved quality-of-life scores after intervention,with the observation group scoring higher than the control group(P<0.05).The short-term complication rate was lower in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05),while the incidence of anterior resection syndrome-related symptoms in long-term complications was lower in the observation group,although the di fference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:The multidimensional management supported by cloud follow-up can effectively enhance the self-care ability of patients undergoing robot-assisted radical resection of rectal cancer.It plays a positive role in improving anal function,enhancing quality of life,and reducing the incidence of complications,thereby promoting postoperative recovery.关键词
