Application effect of ERAS training in the nursing care of robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery for children with Hirschsprung's disease

Abstract
Objective:To explore the application effect and nursing satisfaction of standardized enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)training in the postoperative care of children with Hirschsprung's disease who underwent robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery.Methods:From January 10,2023 to January 23,2025,36 operating room nurses from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University were selected to receive standardized ERAS training for the postoperative care of children with Hirschsprung's disease undergoing robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery.Nurses'satisfaction with the training was assessed,and their theoretical assessment scores and practical nursing performance before and after the training were compared.Results:Among the 36 nurses,the satisfaction score for"training effect"was the highest,while the satisfaction score for"training environment and facilities"was the lowest.After training,nurses'theoretical knowledge of ERAS principles and concepts,robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery,key postoperative nursing points,complication prevention and management,rehabilitation guidance and follow-up were significantly improved(P<0.05).The completion times for surgical instrument inspection and preparation,sterile barrier establishment,intermittent pneumatic compression device placement and adjustment,bedside robotic arm positioning,and intraoperative fault identification and handling were significantly reduced after training(P<0.05).Conclusion:The ERAS standardized training for postoperative nursing of children with Hirschsprung's disease undergoing robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery achieved significant results,with high satisfaction among nurses.The training has enhanced nurses'professional competencies,but the training environment and facilities require further optimization to improve the training system.关键词
