Latent profile analysis of postoperative care dependency in elderly patients with coronary heart disease undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention

Abstract
Objective:To classify and investigate the postoperative care dependency of elderly patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)through latent profile analysis(LPA).Methods:A total of 442 elderly patients with CHD undergoing PCI were selected as research subjects through convenience sampling in hospital from January 2022 to January 2024.The basic situation questionnaire,Hamilton Depression Scale,Hamilton Anxiety Scale,Chinese People's Social Support Scale,Scale of the Quality of Life of the Coronary Heart Disease and Care Dependency Scale were selected to conduct the investigation.Results:The care dependency for elderly patients with CHD after PCI could be divided into three latent profiles,high care dependency type(20.36%),medium care dependency type(52.04%),and low care dependency type(27.60%).Logistic regression analysis showed that age 60～<65 years old,absence of concomitant chronic heart failure,absence of other chronic diseases,social support and quality of life were significant influencing factors of PCI postoperative care dependence in elderly patients with CHD(P<0.05).Conclusions:The PCI postoperative care dependence of elderly patients with CHD can be divided into three latent profiles,which are low care dependence type,medium care dependence type and high care dependence type.Medical staff should provide corresponding health education,psychological intervention,and continuity of care for elderly patients with CHD with different types of nursing dependence to meet their care dependence.关键词
