Abstract

Taking a Electric Multiple Units(EMU)trailer as the research object,the dynamic characteristics of the anti-hunting damper were simulated using the nonlinear damping Maxwell model and simplified physical dynamic model respectively.The in-fluence of the structural elasticity of the anti-hunting damper mounting seat on the dynamic characteristics of the anti-hunting damper was also considered.A vehicle rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model was established.The influences of two types of anti-hunting damper models and the wheel-rail friction coefficient on vehicle's hunting motion were studied.The results show that the main frequency of hunting motion of the vehicle with small equivalent conicity is 1.2 Hz,the lateral stability index decreases with the increase of the wheel-rail friction coefficient,when the wheel-rail friction coefficient is in the range of 0.1 to 0.5.And the main frequency of hunting motion of the vehicle with large equivalent conicity is 7.4 Hz,the stability index of vehicle increases with the increase of the wheel-rail friction coefficient,when the wheel-rail friction coefficient is in the range of 0.1 to 0.5.When the vehicle equipped with elastic anti-hunting damper mounting seats is running at high speed,the lateral stability index of the vehicle using nonlinear damping Maxwell models is smaller than that of the vehicle using simplified physical dynamic models un-der the condition of small equivalent conicity,and vice versa under the condition of equivalent large conicity;structural elasticity of the anti-hunting damper mounting seat is conducive to reducing the level of vehicle shaking under small conicity,but it increa-ses the risk of vehicle shaking under large conicity.
