摘要
Abstract
Within the development context of contemporary public buildings, staircase spaces are experiencing a profound transformation in their value.Traditionally, staircases served mainly as vertical circulation spaces, with design logic emphasizing efficiency—parameters such as riser height, stair width, and pedestrian capacity were considered the main criteria for their value. However, with the revival of architectural humanism and the influence of spatial sociology, staircases are no longer merely mechanical connectors between floors.Instead, they have become place-oriented spaces that support social interaction, cultural expression, and emotional experiences.Following the evolution from"circulation space"to"place-oriented space",this paper analyzes the driving forces behind the placemaking of staircase spaces, discusses the reconstruction of their value, and summarizes practical design approaches based on case studies.关键词
