Abstract

As an educational type equally important as general education,vocational education should have a value orientation that matches its status.Publish English textbooks for higher vocational education can achieve the value guidance through a good design from aspects such as material selection,the setting of auxiliary exercises,and the assistance of online resources.Through value guidance,these textbooks can help to define the role as vocational education learners,build occupational images with all walks of life,promote a social culture that advocates skills,and inspire learners to pursue self-value that com-bines both moral cultivation and professional ability.In this way,it helps students set up the confidence in their career development and enhance their sense of professional honor.
