摘要

Abstract

Xinjiang is the main base for the future development of China's coal production and modern coal chemical industry.Xinjiang has abundant coal resources and its unique coal resource endowment determines its important strate-gic position in national energy security system.It has become an important energy continuity zone and strategic energy security base in China,and undertakes key energy security responsibilities in the context of the country's"dual carbon"goals.Based on the research results of the author's team on coal in Xinjiang coal quality in recent years,com-bined with relevant information currently available,the basic distribution and overall coal quality characteristics of coal resources in Xinjiang were summarized preliminarily in this paper,and the main coal quality issues that need to be paid attention to in the clean and efficient utilization of coal resources in Xinjiang were discussed.The results indicate that the degree of coal metamorphism in Xinjiang is generally low,and there are significant differences in coal rock composition among different mining areas,resulting in significant differences in resource and process properties such as"rich oil coal"and"rich inert coal";The coalification degree of Xinjiang coal is relatively low and it is located in a special sedimentary environment,which leads to its generally high reactivity;High salt coal is widely distributed and mainly controlled by Quaternary residual salt rocks and modern groundwater,which has a significant impact on the uti-lization of coal in Xinjiang and the development of some mining areas;The coalification degree of Xinjiang coal is rela-tively low and it is located in a special sedimentary environment,which leads to its generally high reactivity;High salt coal is widely distributed and mainly controlled by Quaternary residual salt rocks and modern groundwater,which has a significant impact on the utilization of coal in Xinjiang and the development of some mining areas;The low mineral content and enrichment of specific types of minerals result in some mining areas having special coal ash chemical prop-erties,which have adverse effects on the gasification and utilization of coal in Xinjiang;The distribution of a small amount of"smokeless coal"or"natural coke"in Xinjiang is mainly a product of coal seam spontaneous combustion.
