The Global Narrative of the Two Mountains Theory:Theoretical Innovation and Practical Exploration of the Chinese Approach

Abstract
As a vivid exemplar of the"Two Integrations",the"Two Mountains"theory innovatively integrates the Marxist view of ecology with China's exceptional traditional ecological culture.It establishes a new paradigm for ecological protection that balances scientific rationality with ethical consciousness,forming the cornerstone of China's independently developed knowledge system for ecological civilization.Through multidimensional innovations in industry,institutions,organization,and technology,China has cultivated diverse pathways for translating the"Two Mountains"concept into practice,resulting in a comprehensive implementation framework that extends from local initiatives to national strategies.Furthermore,China has shared the theoretical and practical achievements of the"Two Mountains"concept through South-South cooperation and within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).However,challenges persist in overcoming barriers related to cultural translation,differences in institutional compatibility,and the interference of dominant Western discourse.Looking ahead,it is essential to integrate the"Two Mountains"theory more deeply into the international development agenda,foster global value resonance,establish collaborative mechanisms involving diverse stakeholders,and innovate its discursive framework for dissemination.This will contribute China's unique wisdom to the global cause of ecological conservation.关键词
