Abstract
Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis(HSPN)represents a primary renal complication of Henoch-Schönlein purpura(HSP)in children,with approximately 1%～7%of affected individuals progressing to end-stage renal disease(ESRD).Conventional Western medicine primarily utilizes glucocorticoids and immunosuppressants.While effective for short-term symptom control,long-term administration is associated with adverse effects including infections and metabolic disorders,alongside a high relapse rate following discontinuation.Professor Tong Xiaolin's"state-target theory"proposes a novel diagnostic and therapeutic approach for HSPN by integrating traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)holistic syndrome differentiation with modern medical microscopic indicators.Based on this theory,this review systematically analyzes the pathological evolution of HSPN,proposing a four-state differentiation framework(damp-heat,Yin deficiency,Qi deficiency,and Yang deficiency).It identifies"recurrent purpura,foamy urine,and hematuria"as symptomatic targets and"proteinuria"as the core biomarker target.Targeted herbal prescriptions(fang)and specific medicinals(yao)are tailored to each pathological state.Representative case studies demonstrate that this regimen effectively alleviates purpura and hematuria while reducing 24-hour urinary protein quantification.These findings aim to advance clinical strategies for managing pediatric HSPN through integrated TCM-Western medicine approaches.关键词
