摘要

Abstract

Phloem proteins participate in plant stress physiology and resistance.In order to explore the function of phloem protein 2(PP2)in mulberry,we cloned the MaPP2 gene of mulberry,and obtained a se-quence of 962 bp,which encoded 194 amino acids,and had three exons.Sequence analysis showed and the MaPP2 protein was a hydrophilic protein with molecular weight of 22.565 kDa and isoelectric point of 8.27.The MaPP2 had conservative domain of PP2 gene family,but had no signal peptide and transmembrane do-main.The results of amino acid sequence alignment and phylogenetic analysis showed that MaPP2 had high se-quence similarity and close phylogenetic relationship with the PP2 protein of Morus notabilis and Ficus carica.The qRT-PCR results showed that mulberry phytoplasma infection and MeJA could induce the expression of MaPP2 gene,while ABA and damage had inhibitory effects on its expression.The results of this study could provide a reference for further understanding the function and role of MaPP2 gene,as well as for the research of mulberry resistance.
