Effects of Different Harvest Time on Aroma Components of Tobacco Leaves for Cigar Fillers

Abstract
In order to investigate the effects of different harvesting time on the aroma components of cigar filler,this experiment used the middle leaves of the core of Yunxue 39 as materials to study the effects of dif-ferent harvesting times on its aroma components.The results showed that with the extension of harvesting time,the pigment content of cigar filler plastids showed a decreasing trend.Fifty-nine volatile aroma components were detected in all tobacco leaf samples at different harvest times,and the content of newly planted diene was the most abundant in all of them.There was a total of 21 aromatic components with VIP>1 and P<0.05,whose contents mostly showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing with the extension of harvest time,and the contents were mostly higher in T2 and T3 treatments.There were 9 different aroma components with OAV>1,and except for pyridine and 2-methoxy-phenol,the remaining 7 ones were all degradation products of carotenoids,which were namely 4-oxo-isophorone,linalool,geranione,metotrienone A,metotrienone D,metotrienone C and β-dihydroketone.In conclusion,appropriately extending the harvesting time of tobacco leaves could increase the accumulation of the aroma components in cigar filler,which were more abundant at 29 to 31 days after topping,and showed a degradation in aroma substances and a decrease in aroma component contents after 33 days.This conclusion could provide the theoretical reference and data support for the harves-ting of tobacco leaves for cigar fillers in actual production.关键词
