The Indicative Significance of the Characteristics of Pyrite and Tellurite on the Gold Enrichment Mechanism

Abstract
Pyrite and tellurite are important gold bearing mineral combinations in gold deposits,and their microstructure and geochemical characteristics have important indicative significance for revealing the enrichment mechanism of gold.This article systematically summarizes the microstructure(such as multi-stage zoning,dissolution and re precipitation structures),trace element distribution(Au,As,Te,etc.),and sulfur isotope δ34S characteristics of pyrite in typical gold deposits such as orogenic,shallow hydrothermal,and Carlin types.It reveals the correlation between the characteristics of pyrite and tellurite in gold deposits and the gold enrichment mechanism.It is believed that the combination of pyrite and tellurite characteristics is crucial in reconstructing fluid evolution and gold precipitation processes,which can constrain the physical and chemical properties of ore-forming fluids at different mineralization stages,trace the sources of ore-forming materials,and indicate the mineralization mechanism of gold.Comprehensive research shows that the synergistic analysis of pyrite and tellurides is an important approach to studying the mechanism of gold mineralization,and its results have significant value in deepening mineralization theory and guiding mineral exploration.关键词
