Abstract
JSCAST software was used to calculate and analyze the flow of copper liquid and the movement of inclusions in the intermediate ladle of SCR production system.Based on the results of calculation and simulation analysis,the design of intermediate ladle was improved.Industrial experiments were carried out on the improved intermediate ladle,and the changes of silicon-containing inclusions in SCR copper rods before and after improvement were compared.The caculation results show that the arrival time of the tracer in the improved intermediate ladle is extended from 5.8s to 13.2s,the time of the tracer concentration reaching the peak is extended from 9.2s to 25.4s,the slag retention rate of the sediment is increased from 20.1%to 90.6%,and the slag retention rate of the floating slag is increased from 95%to nearly 100%.The industrial experimental results show that the silicon-containing inclusions in SCR copper rods produced by improved intermediate ladle are significantly improved,and the number of silicon-containing phases decreases from 1.3%to almost zero.The annual numbers of customer complaints,returns,and inventory rejections caused by breakage in SCR copper rods decreased by 3.13%,45.20%,and 59%,respectively.关键词
