Detection of triethanolamine dodecylbenzenesulfonate in high salinity compound system based on shielding effect of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin

Abstract
A modified ultraviolet spectroscopy method was developed based on the shielding effect of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin(HP-β-CD)for detecting triethanolamine dodecylbenzenesulfonate(LAS-TEA)in the complex solution of alkyl polyoxyethylene ether-3(AEO-3)and LAS-TEA at high salinity.The effect of HP-β-CD on shielding interference of AEO-3 and inorganic salts with LAS-TEA was verified.The experimental results show that the absorbance of LAS-TEA at the maximum absorption wavelength of 223 nm decreases from 1.915 to 1.775,while the apparent critical micelle concentration(CMC)of LAS-TEA decreases from 0.108 mmol/L to 0.083 mmol/L in LAS-TEA/AEO-3 simulated mineralized water,indicating that AEO-3 and inorganic salts can change the absorbance and apparent CMC of LAS-TEA.After the addition of HP-β-CD with LAS-TEA/HP-β-CD molar inclusion ratio of 1 in simulated mineralized water,the apparent CMC of LAS-TEA is no longer detected,the absorbance change is only 0.25%,and the recovery rate reaches 98.52%-99.65%.From this,it can be seen that HP-β-CD can significantly reduce the interference of AEO-3 and inorganic salts with LAS-TEA in the compound system.The FTIR and 1H NMR analysis show that the LAS-TEA molecules can enter into the HP-β-CD cavity to form the inclusion complexes,which is the key to the anti-interference effect of HP-β-CD.关键词
