Distributed Augmented Synchronization Stability Study of Heterogeneous Interconnected Power Systems Based on Passivity Theory

Abstract
[Purposes]Aiming at the challenges of difficult computation and high communication demands in stability analysis for distributed generation clusters integrating into power systems,a dis-tributed augmented synchronization stability analysis method based on output differential passivity theory is developed.[Methods]On the basis of the output differential passivity theory,the system stability was simplified to the competition between network coupling and node dynamics.On this ba-sis,phase stability and voltage stability problems in the augmented synchronization framework were si-multaneously considered to solve the distributed stability analysis problem of power systems with dis-tributed power cluster access.By using real-time digital simulator(RTDS)in the framework of aug-mented synchronization stability,the small-and large-disturbance stabilities of the 3-machine 9-bus system and the 10-machine 39-bus system were analyzed separately.[Results]The results show that when the system control parameters satisfy the condition of the output differential passivity theory,the system is able to maintain stability under small disturbance,and also under large disturbance whose duration does not exceed the critical clearing time.关键词
