摘要

Abstract

The Power System Stabilizer(PSS)can effectively suppress low-frequency oscillations during power system operation,making the rational configuration of PSS parameters critically important.We propose a PSS parameter optimization strategy based on an Improved Harris Hawks Optimization(IHHO)algorithm.Firstly,the algorithm employs an opposition-based learning strategy to optimize the initial population,enabling broader coverage of the solution space during initialization and preventing convergence to local optima.Secondly,a smoothing technique is introduced during the search phase to effectively reduce jumping amplitudes in the search process,mitigating drastic fluctuations in individual search trajectories and thereby enhancing the algorithm's global exploration capability.Finally,a dynamic adaptive escape energy adjustment strategy is implemented to flexibly coordinate the time allocation between global and local searches,which strengthens the algorithm's robustness while avoiding premature convergence and local optimum entrapment.Experimental results demonstrate that the IHHO algorithm exhibits superior precision,stability,and time efficiency,providing a novel solution approach for PSS parameter optimization problems.
