Abstract
A stepped frequency-modulated waveform is a series of linear frequency-modulated pulse train with stepped carrier fre-quency,which achieve inter-pulse wideband high-resolution synthesis through inter-pulse coherent processing.The waveform can reduce the system's requirement for instantaneous bandwidth during transmission,and acquire wideband signals by consuming time resources.In this paper,the problem of wideband imaging for high-speed targets in aerospace using stepped frequency-modulated signals is focused,and an approach for receiving and synthesizing the demodulated stepped frequency-modulated waveforms from high-speed targets in time-domain is proposed.A mathematical model is established for receiving demodulated stepped frequency-modulated signals from high-speed targets,and the intra-pulse and inter-pulse phase terms caused by high-speed motion and their compensation methods are completely analyzed.The numerical simulation demonstrates that the method proposed in this paper can effectively eliminate the issue of defocused imaging caused by high-speed motion,and achieve broadband synthesis and high resolu-tion range profile of high-speed targets,featuring fewer constraints on waveform parameters and lower data volume.关键词
