边缘计算中基于系统型MDS码的编码方案
A Coding Scheme Based on Systematic MDS Codes in Edge Computing
摘要
Abstract
To address the problem of computation delay caused by straggler nodes in edge computing environments,this paper proposes a three-layer coded edge computing system model,comprising the terminal device layer,the coding scheduler layer,and the edge node layer.On this basis,an optimal coding parameter search algorithm is developed to efficiently identify the optimal coding parameters.Further,a task coding scheme based on systematic MDS codes is designed.When there are straggler nodes in edge computing environments,the proposed encoding scheme can tolerate computation delay caused by n(e)-k straggler nodes.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed coding scheme significantly reduces the total system cost compared to the uncoded scheme,the replication coding scheme,and the FRC coding scheme,while exhibiting strong stability.关键词
